Definition and Usage

The seeking property returns whether the user is currently seeking in an audio/video.

Seeking refers to the user moving/jumping to a new position in the audio/video.

Note: This property is read-only.

The seeking property is supported by all major browsers.

Note: Internet Explorer 8 or earlier versions do not support this property.

Technical Details

Return Value: A boolean value. true if the user is seeking. Otherwise false.
