 Edge is a browser developed by Microsoft, announced on January 21, 2015, and the first preview version was publicly released on March 30, 2015. This browser replaced Internet Explorer as the default browser in Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, where IE has been removed from Windows 10 Mobile. In January 2020, Microsoft officially launched the new Edge browser with Chromium kernel, which remains the default browser for the Windows platform.
